The mayor is using a firm that does municipal work (probably pushing the legal fees onto the village or entity there of) and the firm that defends the defendants is the wife of a judge that defends Mullins and the corruption she breeds.
Lets not forget about the Scotillo's Palatine Law Bar, Northwest Suburban Bar Association, (both Scotillo's were 2 time presidents) Nancy Scotillo law bar matriarch for 23 years? My defense lawyer #1 of 5 past law bar president, defense lawyer #2 of 5 board of governor.
As far as I am concerned Scotillo's law bar is another branch of organized crime (I emailed all governors). What was I thinking? Asking a law bar to follow the law? I must be nuts.
I would suggest the legislative branch of government and gov Quinn pass new laws that make corruption legal, since it is so hard not to be corrupt, that will remove double standards.

The Lot is to small to build a house on, she manipulated the reconstruction of down town Palatine to make a killing on a other wise worthless lot.
To me, it sounds like some one (maybe a roofer fixed the roof, or plumber did something, or maybe a painter?) did work on the Mullins property and did not get paid, so they put a lien on the house, the guy did not have money to foreclose, so lien rights expired, but stayed on the property. Chicago title, or the Harris should know who this person was. So instead of paying the guy who did the work on the property (house), she had her goon squad, lap dog, village council pass a law, allowing Mullins not to pay the bill. Hummm, I wounder if there was a permit? I doubt it.

I wounder what Merrimak glass got paid for their business, If I recall correctly, he did not want to sell, it was not pleasant. Maybe the reason Hummel gave Mullins so much for her property was because, Mullins and her council members, threatened eviction and condemnation of the glass company across the street. Thus Hummel got a chunk of property in down town palatine at a discount price and put up a Hummel brewery building.
